We aim for this to not only match the quality and aesthetics of the other videos but stand out as the main feature with bold use of colour and large text. Although the next video below is fast paced and we aim to come across as relaxed and gentle, this is still a great example of how we match voiceover with typography and animation. In Citizens Advice’s case, we will utilise the silhouettes and images for our graphics, at a slow pace and using reassuring, positive music.

Citizens Advice have been providing free confidential, impartial and private advice since 1939. In 1999, we were able to create our own branch in Gillingham, for the people of Medway. Our team are not only part of a nationwide charity but also active in our local community. We are an equal opportunities organisation and active campaigners for fairer practices both within Medway and across the UK. If you call us for advice, we will do our best to help you. You may need pointing in the right direction, or possibly qualify for one of our funded programmes. Externally or internally, we’ll put you on the right path. If it’s food you need, we work closely with the Trussell Trust. If you think you may qualify for food supplies, we are Medway’s food bank helpline. If you or a friend is a victim of a hate crime, we are also your point of call. Perhaps you currently have housing issues, eviction threats or receiving abuse from a landlord. Our first piece of advice is to make a cup of tea and call our offices. We can put you through to our experienced employees and volunteers, they’ll listen to your story and offer a helping hand.

If you have money problems to solve, getting started is often the hardest part. Take action and call our team - we’ll know what to do. Citizens Advice Medway are partnered with many organisations. If we can’t assist you directly, we’ll probably know who you should be talking to. Contact us and let us do the tricky bit for you. Our branch has an active role in the community, helping and organising campaigns that tackle difficult issues. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we launched our ‘Hug Your Hospital Appeal’ to show appreciation for the NHS and ventured out into the streets collecting for Medway Food Bank every week.
