5 Steel Plate Lifter // Used for the safe lifting and handling of road plates. The lifter is inserted into the centre of the plate and locked into place, a drop chain can then be attached and the plate is ready to lift. Not to be used for side pull or push. If dragged or pushed to the side or along the ground while in the plate, stress will develop on the ankle part of the plate lifter causing foot breakage and/or the centre plate to become pinched. 6 TVCB Lifting Clutch // Compatible with the V28 Concrete Barrier (with central lifting point). The special design of the lifter ensures a tight and safe connection to the anchor embedded in the barrier so that it cannot spontaneously disengage whilst the system is under load at any orientation. When the lift is complete and the load released, the lifter is quickly and simply disengaged from the anchor. 7 Manhole Lifting Pins (Sale Only) // Used in conjunction with lifting chains, lifting pins are a safe, simple and speedy way of lifting manhole rings. • Used in pairs or sets of 3 • Come complete with a test certificate 8 Drop Chain // Increases the movement and ease of operation of kerb stones and paving products whilst offering increased safety for head protection and reducing manual lifting risks. Flat slings are kinder to equipment and do not scratch / damage polished, painted or delicate surfaces.

Our Forklift Cages & Access Platforms are designed to provide safe platform for personnel working to access high areas. They attach securely and safely to a forklift truck without the risk of the forks sliding as secured by two locking heel pins. All personnel should wear a safety harness and lanyard.

1 4 Forklift Work Platforms // When used with a forklift truck, these units provide a safe working environment for personnel working at height. The half height meshed and panelled platforms allow working from three sides with a full height back panel to ensure operator safety from the forklift mast. The mesh platform type has heel pin on each fork channel. The panelled type has the auto fork lock on both sides. Forks are inserted into the heavy duty channels and secured in position by the two heel pins provided. The use of a safety harness and lanyard is recommended.

25 Geared Cone Flow Skip // General purpose crane skip with small shutter opening and low loading height. When in use, the skip will hang at an angle of between 30-40 degrees. This offset can be useful when pouring in areas with difficult access. Fitted with a geared shutter and two operating wheels for a controlled pour. 26 Geared Twin Flow Skip // A versatile general purpose skip which can be used in either bottom or side discharge configuration. This crane skip has the added advantage of a gear operated clam shell type shutter. 28 Column Skip // Designed to allow concrete to be poured into columns or shuttering with narrow or difficult access and discharged at low level, reducing the risk of aggregate separation. Concrete is discharged through a shutter into a fitted hopper on which the outlet terminates as a 200mm diameter tube. There is provision to allow the fitting of a flexible heavy duty rubber tube. The design allows the operator to control the flow of materials from ground level by a rope connected to the shutter handle.

29 Circular Muck Skip - Self Tipping // The safer option to the standard muck tipping skip used for muck removal or general site rubbish clearance. With a specially designed locking system, this removes the requirement for any third party participation when emptying the skip.

30 Muck Skip // Normally used for muck removal or general site rubbish clearance. Once the bale support fingers are disengaged,the skip then becomes self tipping. All Muck Tipping Crane Skips are fitted with additional security locking pins to the bale support fingers. 3 1 Boat Skip // Used for general site clearance or muck removal. The main advantage of this type of skip is the comparatively low loading height compared with a conventional muck skip. The lifting bale automatically locks when lifted, this enables the crane driver to manoeuvre and tip the skip without the need for a second operator. Bale support fingers are only engaged when the bale is disconnected from the crane.

32 Man Cages // The safest method of transporting personnel to or from any high or low level work situation. All cages are supplied panelled to half height, this allows work to be safely carried out with minimal obstruction. Points are provided for the attachment of lanyards or safety lines.

8 Manhole Shuttering // Marwood Group Ltd supplies a series of 3 panel types (available in 2 heights) that combine quickly and easily to create a shutter for pouring a concrete surround for pre-cast manhole rings.
