It is serious, intense and mineral, and needs time to unfurl. There is an intense note of violet and orange zest with hints of herbal complexity. 2026-2034 £350 - £400 / 6BOTTLES ÉCHEZEAUX 100% destemmed and 50% new oak. It is serious, intense and focused with tart bright fruit. There is a delicious array of crunchy berries, ethereal perfume overlaying intense, serious structure. It is powerful yet light on its feet with a long, intense finish. A very serious effort. 2032-2041 £935 - £1,065 / 6BOTTLES CLOSDEVOUGEOT 100% destemmed, 100% new oak. This is serious, muted and structed, classic Vougeot in youth. There is smoky, herbal intensity overlaying dark, creamy fruit. There is an intensly mineral finish. There is fruit there but at this point it is more about savoury structure. 2033-2043 £1,075 - £1,220 / 6BOTTLES

20% whole bunch, 5% new oak. This is creamy, bright and delicous, with crunchy blueberry. It is pretty, tasty and lovely. It shows greath energy, length and freshness. 2024-2028 £120 - £140 / 6BOTTLES

There is a lovely grip on the finish. 2024-2029 £275 - £315 / 6BOTTLES MOREYST. DENIS, 1ERCRUAURUEDEVERGY From a steep rocky site above Clos St. Denis and Clos de Tart. A really interesting, complex nose of blueberry, orange zest and perfumed, exotic spice. It is silky and seductive, with exotic sweet spice. Delicious. 2027-2035 £280 - £320 / 6BOTTLES
