Burgundy 2021 Supplement

DOMAINEMICHEL GROS - VOSNE-ROMANÉE Upon arrival at the Domaine we were welcomed by Pierre and his father Michel. Michel is still a regular presence in the winery, but young Pierre is now fully in charge, overseeing work in their 23 hectares of vineyard, doing thewinemaking and the all-important harvest. Thewines are juicy andwell balancedwith a generous toasty notewhich comes fromtheir choice of well toasted oak barrels. Their ChambolleMusigny had lots of crunchy fruit and a beautiful expression of terroir and the Clos des Réas, their monopole on the outskirts of the village, was really fine and balanced with a beautifully fresh finish. We’re delighted to encourage you to fill your cellars at every level of these wines which offer great value across some serious appellations.
